Dr. Joseph Babiarz
Joseph W. Babiarz, M.D. F.A.C.S., joined Urology Specialists of Wisconsin in 1993. He is certified through the American Board of Urology. Dr. Babiarz received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his medical degree from the University of Michigan. He completed his residency in urology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, and he has additional specialized fellowship training in female urology, incontinence, and pelvic reconstruction from UCLA Health Sciences Center in Los Angeles, California.
Specialties. Dr. Babiarz specializes in female incontinence, urodynamics, bladder dysfunction, bladder and prostate cancer surgery, kidney stones, and laparoscopic surgery. His practice is open to both adult and pediatric patients.

Dr. Benjamin Battino
Benjamin S. Battino, M.D., joined Urology Specialists of Wisconsin in 2005. He is certified through the American Board of Urology. He received his medical degree from the Ohio State University, and he completed his urology residency at the University of Cincinnati. He practiced urology in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for three years before coming to Wausau.
Specialties. Dr. Battino specializes in robot prostate surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and kidney stone disease. His practice is both open to adult and pediatric patients.

Dr. David Bluestein
David L. Bluestein, M.D., joined Urology Specialists of Wisconsin in 1996. He is certified through the American Board of Urology. His medical career started at the University of Los Angeles Medical School, and his residency was at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota.
Specialties. Dr. Bluestein specializes in prostate cancer, robotic surgery, benign prostatic hyperplasia, erectile dysfunction, and laser surgery. His practice is both open to adult and pediatric patients.

Dr. Roy Brandell
Roy A. Brandell, M.D., joined Urology Specialists’ Wisconsin Rapids location in 2001. He is certified through the American Board of Urology. Dr. Brandell attended medical school at Northwestern University and completed his urology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Brandell practiced urology for two years at the Wausau Medical Center before continuing his training with a fellowship in male infertility and erectile dysfunction at the New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center in New York City.
Specialties. Dr. Brandell specializes in male infertility, erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, urologic cancers, and incontinence. He has extensive experience in both pediatric and adult urology.

Dr. Laura Sherrill
Laura E. Sherrill, M.D., joined Urology Specialists of Wisconsin in 2004. She is certified through the American Board of Urology. Dr. Sherrill started her medical career at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, and then went on to residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota.
Specialties. Dr. Sherrill practices general urology in both adult and pediatric patients, with special interests in female urology, endourology, and oncology.

Dr. Carl Viviano
Carl J. Viviano, M.D., joined Urology Specialists of Wisconsin in 1991. He is certified through the American Board of Urology. His medical career started at the Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his internship at St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, and his residency at Henry Ford Hospital, also in Detroit.
Specialties. Dr. Viviano specializes in prostate and bladder cancer, kidney stones, prostate radioactive seed implantation, and cryosurgery. His practice is open to both adult and pediatric patients..
